A RESPECTFUL CLOSING TRIBUTE

As we bring this remembrance to a close, we do so with hearts filled with gratitude for the life God allowed Dr. Van Wilson Wells to live and the ministry He entrusted to him.

We thank God for the spiritual heritage that came through Dr Van Wilson Wells, and for the many lives that Dr. Wells, embraced, instructed, encouraged, and helped prepare for service in the Kingdom of God.

Me and my wife  (Lady  Devetta Haynes) as one of the sons and daughters in the Gosple. We will  forever cherish every moment that we spent together and all the time that  we laugh  and cried together.  For over 40 years as my father in the Gospel, Dr Wells allowed God to continue to teach us through his leadership how to  become a servants of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ .

 

Not only me and my wife, Dr Wells was the foundation in inspiring many sons and daughters to serve in the ministry in leadership roles as  Pastor, elders missionaries, evangelist and general laborer in the Lord works, and there are so many others that has been expired after encountering Dr. Van Wells.

​

​​Dr. Wells' journey on earth has come to an end, but the testimony of his life continues through those he touched. Every life he encouraged, every minister he mentored, every soul he helped strengthen, and every seed of faith he planted represents a part of the legacy he leaves behind.

​

We therefore bid farewell—not with sorrow alone, but with gratitude, honor, and hope.

May the words of Scripture remind us:

​

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

​

Rest in the peace of God, Dr. Van Wilson Wells.

​

Your earthly assignment is complete.

Your labor has not been forgotten.

Your influence remains.

Your legacy lives on.

And the seeds you planted will continue to bear fruit through generations yet to come.

Well done, faithful servant.
May your memory be blessed,
may your legacy endure,
and may the work you began continue to glorify Jesus Christ.
